Day 10: How to Feel Good -- a quick mind stretch

Bring to mind the image of an 80 year old person of your gender.

Got it? 

The face, the posture, the walk...

Now imagine it's you!  You at 80.

(If you're 80 already, go for 95).

What do you look like in the mirror?

What does your body feel like when you're moving?

Stay with it for a moment more.....

 

 

This is coming.  If you're fortunate to make it to that age, you're doing well.

Feel 80 as best you can for one more moment.....

 

And now hear your old self say, "What would I give to have the body, friends and challenges I had back on September 25, 2025?"

You'd probably give a lot.  I know I would.

Today's How to Feel Good is to imagine yourself as old... and imagine how good you'd feel to have a chance to be back here today at the age you are today.

It's a challenge to stretch our imaginations like that, but I find it a powerful exercise.  It can put some of today's challenges in a lighter light.

I think it's most likely you, like me, would feel pretty grateful.  

And grateful feels good.

And grateful is Playing Big,
